Program Overview
Hogg Therapy Pediatrics Internship Program aims to provide students with meaningful exposure to pediatric therapy in a hands-on, structured setting. The program will allow interns to learn from experienced therapists, gain direct insight into pediatric therapy practices, and assist in various clinical activities to enhance their skills and confidence.
This program is for undergraduate/graduate students interested in pursuing careers in pediatric therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, or related fields.
Program Structure
Duration: 150-200 hours over a set period (e.g., 6-8 weeks).
Work Schedule: Interns will work a set number of hours per week based on their availability, ideally ranging from 15-40 hours total. Flexibility with days and times should be allowed to accommodate students’ schedules.
Interns will gain valuable hands-on experience in pediatric therapy, develop professional skills, and receive constructive feedback. The internship may also serve as a stepping stone for future employment opportunities within the clinic or other therapy practices.
